Before, driving from Delhi to Jaipur could take 4 to 5 hours. But with this new expressway, your travel time is now cut to about 3 hours! That’s a lot of time saved for you to spend enjoying the beautiful city of Jaipur.
What Makes This New Road Great?
The new expressway is a “greenfield” road, which means it’s a brand new road built on a fresh path. It’s also an “access-controlled” road. This means that local traffic cannot get on the road easily. This helps keep the road clear and fast for you. You will not get stuck in traffic like you used to on the old highway.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) built this road with care. It helps you avoid busy towns and the old, crowded NH-48 road. The new expressway is designed for a smooth ride with a speed limit of 120 km/h.
