The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) just held a very important meeting. They decided to spend money and start many big projects to make our roads better, our drains cleaner, and our city safer.

• The biggest trash sites—at Ghazipur, Bhalaswa, and Okhla—will finally be cleaned up.

New Roads for Safer Travel

The MCD is working to make your commutes safer and cleaner.

• Good news for Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Phase-2! The roads there will be made stronger and paved to reduce dust and pollution. This project alone is budgeted at over ₹36 crore.

• This scheme is a major relief! If you owe old property tax from before the financial year 2020–21, the MCD will waive (forgive) all the interest and penalties.
• You only need to pay the main tax amount for the current year (2025–26) and the previous five years (2020–21 to 2024–25).
